Appeal Policy
While it is rare that a decision is reversed, it is possible for authors to appeal the final evaluation decision. An email can be written to the editorial staff (editor@acaa-p.com) containing a few key points and convincing reasons (with supporting data) as to why the rejection should be reversed, as shown below:
- Detailed reason, with supporting data, as to why you disagree with the reviewer’s decision and comments.
- New data that can should be taken into consideration.
- Evidence that shows technical mistakes performed by the editor.
- Evidence that shows discrimination based on conflict of interest.
After an appeal is received, other members from the editorial board will review all the issues as well as the reviewer comments/ criticism and make a decision based on all of the new examined information. The decision may remain unchanged or a new decision will take place which include acceptance or rereview. Any decisions performed after the appeal are final and are not subject to change (no appeal).
